His positive campaign and refusal to wallow in the muck gave us hope. He represents a positive change. McCain campaigned on negativity.

McCain's glass house isn't bulletproof. Only Obama's decency has kept Gordon Liddy (now there's a domestic terrorist!) and other fanatics and crooks in McCain's circle from dominating the news. But the issues that we face remain in the forefront of Obama's campaign.

Barack looked comfortable and at ease, McCain seemed tense and nervous.

Biden's a thoughtful, knowledgeable person who studies the issues. He cares about more than a tiny segment of this country.

I don't know if McCain is worried about the foreign policy debate, but he ought to be terrified of the vp debate and letting Sarah Palin off the leash. My guess is McCain's aiming to force reshuffling the debates in order to squelch the vp one entirely or else forgo the one on the economy.

Evangelicals love her, but how about mainstream thinkers? Will they fall for the snarky one-liners or will they look for substance?

We don't know anything about Sarah Palin. We need the media to find out and report fairly on her record and accomplishments, but not family
